Meditation is a way for your mind to ease away from the daily hustle of life and bring your focus to the basics of life, like breathing. It is an art of moving out of the demanding life to focus on breathing and letting go of anything that is taking us away from being in the here and now.

The purpose of meditation is to be calm and peaceful, increase focus, gain clarity and eliminate negative thoughts and emotions that cause stress in our bodies. When our mind is peaceful, we worry less which helps us be happier and helps our mind focus better and helps; but if our mind at peace we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions.

But it can be tough to meditate without a teacher or guide.
